Minion Report post Posted January 25, 2006 It is with heavy heart I announce my retirement from EL. In almost 2 years I have found friends and love here. Enough to last someone the rest of their days. I can put no box around what has kept me going and motivated. Mostly self determination to be the best that I could. I have run (at one point) the largest guild in EL, I have achieved level 50+ in all stats, created chims a plenty and I have tried to help all those I have run across. Some friends I would like to acknowledge (Some no longer active): GarD: My only true home in EL. Scronty: Who got my butt moving at my start. Neoses: Who had faith in a newb. Sandcastle: Who told me "they are only gargs, what harm can they do?" Gunslingers: Who taught me restraint and calm JaneMuffin: Who taught me the opposite Korgan: To all the irritable but loveable dwarves out there. ChickenGeorge (Sr): To all those long MSN chats. Avon: The best conversationalist in EL. Shivar/Scarr: Who showed me teamwork will win everytime. Matteyu: Who taunt me its more fun to play then care about how many resets. Ziara: Who should sleep more, play less. Dain: Maybe I'll teach with you someday. WizzKidd: Who helped without thought of himself always. Fireballs: Who taught me chivilry. LochnessLobster: Always a help whenever needed. Morto: Who taunt me to be happy with who I am. and of course Merrick: The constant throughout all this. I apologize if I missed you, but my head is full of things right now. But what can someone say to those who have helped them smile over a 2 year period, but thank you. You have all touched me. Thank you for the knowledge you shared with me about summoning, but I'm afraid it won't be put to use now, because I officially give up summoning with your departure. Minion Report post Posted January 26, 2006 Thank you all for the kind words and e-mails and phone calls and 1 knock on the door at 2am. I have been separated from my wife for a number of months. Things have been difficult of late which causes extended problems to play and participate in the community. My mistake was not giving much notice to those I consider my extended family which caused some grief I had not expected. I may have hurt more people in this process than just myself. Not my intent.
