HyperSpace Bags Lock.

Recommended Posts

Hello, Many of you on EL probably use HyperSpace Bags and the Annoying thing is that sometimes people find your bags and take the Contents, but I came up with a Idea that could Hopefully solve this Problem therefore creating a Solution. Simple really isnt it? Well basically the idea is a Lock that has a Pin number, so the User puts this Lock on their HyperSpace Bag and they have their own unique Pin to get into the bag so no-one else can. Please consider this Ide as I think it would work.

Thanks,

- Cleo.

Not an bad idea for sure.

No offence but i have THIS oppinion about bags:

If u go to pk, you risk to die and loose items.

If you place a Hyperspace bag, you risk that someone can find it and you loose items.

Sure making things easier is always good. But sometimes we

just have to live with the cons of some things. That is what

makes playing this game always fun.

It is a neat idea,

But i don't think it should be implemented.

My opinion is that if someone is lucky enough to find your hyperbag, they shouldn't also be forced to come up with a pin. and what happens when people ask mods to "remind" them of the pins they forgot?

Thats their Problem to remember it, Like a Password. If they forget it, it's their problem not the Moderators.

I agree with the negative comments. H-bags have some risk associated with them. If the risk is to great, then don't use them. I don't believe Entropy ever intended them to be a safe way to store things.

yep. cuz that way it also would make guild store bots useless and some ppl would be

really pissed to have paid $$$ for it

I agree that it doesn't need a password. It would be too easy to guess mine if I used h-bags at all anyway. :P

But I mostly agree with Scorp his point. Its a bit like PK, make a bag, risk to lose it. PK, risk to die.

if you want to keep your bags from being stolen bring someone strong with you as backup, or anything you don't want to bring with you leave at storage or let a friend hold onto.

Pretty simple concept imo.

or just do what I do....bring stuff you can afford to lose.

It's not about death bags :/

OT: Hyperbag contests? I hope the pin is optional for those cases. Though I prefer none at all, it's a small risk because EL is so big and the bag is so small + invisible :bow_arrow: if you really don't want to take it, then just don't

but thats why ppl go pking to get items off ppl... and the fact that u enter pk maps at ur own risk :brooding:

Your idea is just yet another storage. You throw all crap into h-bag, space it and if you don't forget it you will recover it one day. I don't think it is the aim of implementing h-bags.

As it was said above: no pain, no gain. The PK comparison is really good one. Putting h-bag is exactly same thing as entering PK area. You may get your ass beaten, however, with h-bag you won't get free ticket to Isla Prima.

don't like that idea, consider what would come out of it... you could basically have your private sto everywhere... apart from uncrowding stos - which might be positive - this would completely change the gameplay... have your own sto at whatever place is convenient for what you do...
