PK Contest Preparations

What is this about?

This is a topic about a PK contest. It will be a bit like this, but more advanced . A story has been written, and certain things have been put in place. However, I can’t find any help (no, not even in Event Team). So I need the players... With this post, I simply ask for some donations that are needed to host this contest. I can assure you, it will be worth it (for the old-school PKers that is ).

 

Options:

• I’d like a PK contest. But I’m not helping you.
  -> Ok fine, I can’t make you.
  
• I’d love a new PK contest! I’ll donate some things that you can use.
  -> Great! Thanks.
  
• Get your own stuff beggar!
  -> I can’t get all that stuff myself... And it’s no like I’m playing in the contest.
  
• I’d like more information. I’m not donating for a contest which I know nothing about.
  -> Sorry I can’t do that. The contest is built up in my own special way. I can’t say more than this or I’d ruin it.
  

Donations:

Required

- Guilds or money to create them: 3 guilds or 117k gc

(If you donate a guild, you give me the right to temporarily change the name, tag and description. There can’t be any Total Wars/Alliances.)

- Gold Coins: 5900

- Health Essences: 412

- Matter Essences: 720

- Spirit Essences: 3

- Energy Essences: 15

- Magic Potions: 3

- Spirit Restoration Potions: 3

- Bones: 6200

 

Optional

- Phantom Warrior Summoning Stones or Sslessar Summoning Stones: 3

- Weaker Summoning Stones: Up to 12

- Any equipment: Up to 12/piece

 

Temporary (items will be returned)

- Fast Regeneration Cloak: 1

- Crown of Mana: 1

 

Prizes

There are no standard prizes. This contest is for fun. If you really want the best players to win something, you can donate prizes as well. Anything above the base value of 500gc will be accepted (to avoid stuff like Deer Antlers etc.).

 

Notes:

- You will have to sign up for this contest. It will be a team event in Kilaran Field.

- I need some people to help me playing the event. It is completely impossible for me to do this all alone. If you feel like lending me a hand, send me a forum PM.

- If you have an idea, don’t bother posting it. The contest lay-out has been set. No more changes.

- You may comment on the options. But the main reason for this topic is to get you to donate of course.

- Everyone who donates will get his/her name mentioned of course. Big thanks in advance!

About the guilds, I do not need them yet. They will be done last. (Otherwise I'd have them to me for too long )

EDIT:

The leaders of the selected guilds are not participating in the event, and do not have to accept me or any of my alts in the guild. All changes will be passed onto them in the week of the contest.

Cyp, use my guild of TiM, you've tested something for the contest with it before, its non-active anyway so it doesn't matter what happens with it, just PM meh when ya need it.

 

About the donations, are the red numbers what you still NEED? Or what you already GOT? Just puzzled about it, if its stuff you still need I can get you a couple things perhaps.

Hmm I would say without COL. We used to pk some without all the new armors...

There is a way to compensate cooldown on SRs... (rings are better with it imo)

I could allow CoM. With that, players will have more mana to start with so the cooldown is a bit less effective. On the other hand, some "poor" players will most likely bitch about it :/

Better bump your topic back up or noone will notice your suggestion at all.

 

Honestly, I personally wouldn't use my CoM, I wouldn't like someone killing me and run off with it.

It also gives you a 6 extra restores, quite a lot imo.

And as you said yourself, those who can't afford it, its not fair to them.

I suggest going without the CoM and if your cooldown is large, flee until its gone and then use another potion.

Why not set up a pk contest divided by levels? like 40-60 here 70-80 here 90-100 here 101+ here

I think a player organized PK contest is a great idea. I can provide some prizes if needed.

Maybe you could provide Cyp with some matter essences, he's telling everyone to help him get some.

I think it was all he still needed but its been some hours since I checked on his list of items to get.
