eliguttman Report post Posted February 8, 2009 Here is what i'm thinking it's still a work in progress but let me know what you think First of all a government needs funding so here were my ideas for that. Donations: We can set up an NPC like Masterul Manole (one on C1 and one on C2) they can collect donations Bank: we can set up a bank.. this bank would give loans not hold money for people. (i still havnt figured out what to do if someone doesn't pay back money, but again its a work in progress) this bank would charge very little interest and all profit would go to government. Tombalurl: the 10% tombalurl keeps can go towards the government. Next the government needs something to spend it on. No Newbie Left Behind Program: basically have a raffle that all newbies can participate in (no lvls over 10) this would give them: a leather set, wooden shield, 1k gc, all books 50gc and under (maybe just metallurgy), 100 fe. This would give them a very good start. Invasion fighting force Pay people to fight invasions. This would give them more incentive to fight in invasions and it would help solve problems where invasions don't seem to end. The payment would be small 100 damage to invasion creature/1gc. These are just some ideas i'm sure we can find many more entrances and exits for government money. So what do you guys think?

Vanyel Report post Posted February 8, 2009 Keyword: government http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.p...p;hl=government http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.p...p;hl=government http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.p...p;hl=government http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.p...p;hl=government It might be (and in my opinion is) a good idea to start with Searching so you know what other, similar suggestions appeared in time. What were arguments supporting and countering them. This way you can work on your suggestion a bit longer - making it a real novelty.
