chintan Report post Posted April 30, 2005 (edited) Note that there is no there is no right or wrong answer cause the game doesn't define a naming convention. This poll is simply to see how many people prefer each naming convention. Edited April 30, 2005 by chintan
Ruln Report post Posted April 30, 2005 I don't prefer the way it is (Choice 1 above) but have to live with reality. If I attack the "medium" sized ones then I'm going to take a lot more damage then if I attack the "large" ones. I suspect it is supposed to be a clever joke. Its just confusing though. Daxon Report post Posted April 30, 2005 You only take more damage from mediums because they appear to have higher accuracy. If they had the same 'accuracy' as the large gargoyle.. then the large would win. I think the term of size here was based on the muscle mass of the gargoyles. ChangeYourName Report post Posted April 30, 2005 I picked what is a garg since the poll was dumb i figured I would pick the dumb answer
Acelon Report post Posted April 30, 2005 In reality, this is the order: Small garg: Small, wings. Med Garg: Medium sized, no wings Large Garge: Large sized, wings This is what it is, I was told a long time ago by a dev.
Entris Report post Posted May 1, 2005 It can be confusing with wich garg is wich when it comes 2 large and medium gargs. If ur not sure go 4 the small
kl4Uz Report post Posted May 1, 2005 If you train on gargs you train on the physical small ones, then on the tall ones with wings and then on the brawny ones without wings. that's why I call the brawny ones, the large gargs.
scarr Report post Posted May 1, 2005 the 1 with wings is skinny and big the 1 without is big boned/big and smallest 1 is a dwarf
Aislinn Report post Posted May 1, 2005 In reality, this is the order: Small garg: Small, wings. Med Garg: Medium sized, no wings Large Garge: Large sized, wings This is what it is, I was told a long time ago by a dev. 157792 Absolutely. This is how they were created, with these descriptions/titles. Somewhere along the way somebody made the medium gargs give more damage but they are still the medium gargs. Strength has nothing to do with size. <_<
Derin Report post Posted May 1, 2005 This have been debated before: http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=12307 But it is a fun debate
kl4Uz Report post Posted May 1, 2005 most players have another opionion on this subject Aisllinn, so it doesn't really matter what has been, the wording is different nowadays.
Entropy Report post Posted May 2, 2005 The problem with the gargs was that when I implemented them, I made a small mistake so the size doesn't correlate with their fighting abilities. I forgot exactly which garg is which, but due to the fact that it was like this for more than 1 year, I decided to let them as they are.

Soldus Report post Posted May 2, 2005 I think you get my point...just because many people do/believe something it isn't necessarily correct. Even less the only possible way to look at it or do it.
the_antiroot Report post Posted May 2, 2005 A answered option one, as this is also the order of ingrieds required when summoning.
WiLdCaRd Report post Posted May 2, 2005 (edited) http://www.eternal-lands.com/index.php?con...reatures_undead http://o.tfm.ro/ Click on the monster section  Hmm make up your own mind, one says one thing, the other says another!! I`ve always thought the "Large" Gargs were the big ones WITHOUT wings, simply because they look so much stronger and more defined that the TALL with wings Oh btw...........since when have Gargs been Undead?? Aislinn Report post Posted May 2, 2005 http://www.eternal-lands.com/index.php?con...reatures_undead 158102 Hah!!! Since the official EL site says the tall one with wings is the large one, I guess that should be the defining answer
Gen_Axis Report post Posted May 2, 2005 C'mon ppl. I summoned 3.8k gargs... med garg is this tall with wings (need 3 of each ess) big garg is this w/out wings (need 4 of each ess) ... like Entropy said.
Puntif Report post Posted May 7, 2005 I am trying to stop using the terms "medium" and "large". To keep things clear I try to use "wingless" and "tall" and "short".
LadyReni Report post Posted May 7, 2005 Hey everyone knows that : small garg is a baby garg (I feel bad killing them), tall with wings is a mother and big wingless is a father What a happy family.
