Alchemy

Recommended Posts

I haven't played in six months. In that time did they update something to make it harder to make fire essence successfully? or am i literally just 100 times more unlucky? I never used to fail making them but now im lvl 20 alch and failing 50% of the time. I noticed they added a "mix all" button...does it have anything to do with them adding that?

They made FE's need level 1 Alch insted of 0, so there is a chance to fail, even though I fail FE's at level 65 alch, and I fail more FE's than HE's.

And the "Mix All" Button, has nothing to do with it, I think they did that for people with RSI.

no, its called a messed up randomizer or so

I never trusted EL randomizer, or is there some explanation why I fail like 1/2k steel bars and 1/100 FEs :S

i do find it odd that we fail more FE's than HE's tho, i have that problem too.

Nah, i've got more fails on HEs. Maybe i should do some FEs from time to time ;o

fail more FEs than Hes....and i fail more HEs than MtE/SE/DE...its like WHA?

Do you guys actually count the number of fails?

You can make 45 fe's in a row and only 6 he's.

So with the automix you make fes till you fail/finish/get hungry.

But you need less interaction so you chat, spam forums etc.

And then you look at your manufacture window

and say smeg i failed again! :P

If you make ess when you mine is it easy to see how many fails.

You bring 300 Chrys. to the mine and being 298 HE back to storage = 2 fails.

With alchemy 115 do I fail 1-2 out of 300 HE, 3-5 out of 300 FE.

What numbers, if I may ask? I think you'd get sensible results only if you test in the thousands ...
