LabRat Report post Posted November 30, 2005 A couple of the books in books/inmsh_*.xml are incorrectly named as inmsh_*..xml (double .) Feel free to move the post if it's in the wrong place
ttlanhil Report post Posted November 30, 2005 there's actually about a dozen book bugs. some are filename, one is in the file itself(ghealeansea), and some are in the wrong places. plus a bunch of typos, etc hopefully they'll all be fixed in the next update(some can be done server side, some in the next client update)

bluap Report post Posted December 14, 2008 Just came across one of these still incorrectly named. Location: You are in Magic School of Tarsengaard [88,245]. Click the white book and you get: Couldn't open the book: languages/en/books/inmsh_tirasalmanac.xml! Couldn't open the book: books/inmsh_tirasalmanac.xml! The correct file name has an extra "l": inmsh_tiralalmanac.xml
Usl Report post Posted May 26, 2009 In Tarsengaard Magic School library, at [88,246], there is a white book on the shelf. This book is supposed to be one of those you can read online, but there is a mismatch between the book name as recorded in the map, and the actual file name. In particular: The map refers to inmsh_tirasalmanac.xml The file is called inmsh_tiralalmanac.xml (in languages/en/books/) One of the two (probably the file name) should be corrected. Thanks to Krones for reporting this.
Theryndan Report post Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) The Great Almanac of Gods - The Shadow Deities: Tiral Tiral, the first and oldest of the Dragons, the first race on the planet, was given eternal life by Aluwen to watch over creation. Not as powerful as the Gods, she was grieved when her race was destroyed due to the fog of violence that caused the Dragon Wars to erupt. Redefining her role as protector, she now sits as guardian over the lost continent, waiting and watching for the time where she would be able to reverse the course of history, and send a common man back in time to remove the fog, and prevent the wars from happening. The book is about Tiral, so I think the filename is correct; anyway for the moment I can simply add in the encyclopedia repository a copy of the file with the name used by the server while waiting for it to be fixed server side. Acelon Report post Posted May 27, 2009 Actually.. we probably just need to remove this book entirely. Tiral is no longer one of the shadow gods

Well, if the name is no longer in official storylines, then yes, should be removed.
Aphistolas Report post Posted May 29, 2009 Well, if the name is no longer in official storylines, then yes, should be removed. I'm of the opinion that it's a library in-game, so unless something gets specifically rectonned then it should stay. Tiral is still mentioned in the DP fast reading room, is she not? Whatever though, just a thought.
