Ok before i post shots this is meh setup.

Ati Radeon 7200

2.6.11 kernel SMP

X Window version: 6.8.2

(distro is suse 9.3 so all packages are pretty much up to date)

With the old version i had no problems.

Here are the shots.

This is just few of them, same patter appears on every map..

Also, EL managed to kill meh X, actually, made it stuck, nothing i could do, mouse is there, music is playing, but i can't kill X, i can't open new terminal, and my shutdown button on case won't work, only solution is to force reset..

Is there anyhing i can do, and once this happens i get some sort of output which could help u to find out the reason why this is happening?.

Tnx!

p.s. i have tried enabling/disabling vertex stuff, shadows, reflections, etc etc etc..

but nothing changes!

I haven't my card is slightly older..

And if I remember correctly, on ATI website the drivers they release are not for my gfx card, so i'm stuck with DRI that is in X/kernel

He finally came to the good side!

No, strange. All the settings in el.ini did not fix it? Very strange.

I'm having these same exact issues with my radeon mobility 7500 in gentoo with x.org drivers (no official ATI ones exist. The graphics for the players and animals are incredible otherwise ... Bring 'em on :icon13:

Yeah, I have the Radeon 7500 mobility (M7) as well. Works fine under WinXP, but i do not like having to reboot my laptop. Must be a driver issue. *sigh*
