Heavy Gold Perk

Recommended Posts

Gives: 10 pickpoints

Gold coins are 1 emu each, from now on.

Say good-bye to bot purchasing, high gold dropping monsters, carrying gold coins with you :) You'll only be able to direct gold trades at storage, and unless you have a high amount of emu, your inventory won't last long enough to collect the drop of a few yetis/dragons.

If you think its worth the pick points, go ahead.

Like the idea; also the PPs that it gives are fine because it is by far the worst perk. Hellspawn would be better.

First of all, I don't think there's a need of more negative perks.

This perk sounds well ballanced.

So far the best negative perk idea I've seen in past years.

<edit>

It doesn't affect storage-to-storage trades, though.

If it does, then it would be worse than antisocial.

It would be pretty much impossible to buy anything from an NPC that cost more than your EMU. Think weapons, armor, CoL, capes, books, even sigils for newer players.

If it does then it would be balanced and trully negative, otherwise another free pickpoints giving perk.

Without it affecting storage trades it's just a bit different antisocial perk that does partly limit your trades with NPCs

and additionaly trades with bots and hardly with players. It would be bit annoying during training aswell.

EDIT: typo

As is the majority of negative perks nowadays? :P

I like the idea, if it allows storage trades then it should be reduced to ~8pp and if not then increased to ~12pp.

Another excuse for noobs to break rule #5 though... and we already know how spammed the ban forum is with those offenses :P

doesnt it cost 1200 to get plat coins and you get 800 in return?

That's alot of trips to get a large amount but no one has 1200 emu :D

That's basically the same as antisocial, though. You can always just get a friend to buy the item for you, and I doubt any newer players would consider taking such an advanced perk, if they did well, tough :D . (Or maybe the GC could just be taken from storage + hauling fine :P )
