Update test 3...

Random crashes... :cry:

Apart from the 1067 lines (excluding the blank lines) the client spams into my error_log.txt at startup by default, there's nothing about the crash...

It happens when I'm autowalking (not at the moment I click the map), or just standing/sitting somewhere, in console mode or in normal mode...

If I can do anything to help tracking the bug... :hehe:

(btw: Win2k, NVidia GeForce2 MX/PCI/SSE/3DNOW!, OpenGL Version: 1.4.1)

 

 

Ah yes,

* I'm missing the program icon

* the name of the program is "Developed using the Dev-C++ IDE". ("Developed using the Dev-C++ IDE is trying to access the internet", "An error occurred in Developed using the Dev-C++ IDE", etc.)

map bug at charmien Manor [117,110] - can walk through the bars

'cave passage' (coal cave) no longer has an east wall

 

problems with sound:

once you enable sound it does not turn off automatically, you need to change maps and it does not like to be disabled, it should mute when no sound is enabled not requireing you to change maps.

changeing volumes also works when no sound is selected.

The Fire on IP coveres only half of the pit.

Strange, I can't summon in the Orasul forest [149,95], nor in Grahm's village [124,160]. I receive "Summoning failed, no available space nearby"

I get this same error - at first I thought it was to keep people from summoning at Raven, but the area seems to extend over a HUGE portion of WS. Infact, you can't even summon at [256, 359], which is the location of Sylpho, Selain's priest. I doubt blessings will be of any use like this.

 

I'll continue walking and trying to summon to see how far this extends?

 

I hope this is a fixable BUG and not a feature.

 

Edit: It appears to be the entire whitestone map - is it possible that the wrong map was distributed with #3?

Edit2: Seems to be all maps, was told a correction was made but?

Edit3: Apparently it was due to the large quantity of invasion monsters - will scripted invasions have this same effect on summoning? (total monsters, not per map)

i'm having difficulty with the test file. I got it working, but the only problem is that i can't get my character to travel on boats :)

now i'm no newb, but i think that there is something messed up with it.
