Sir_Exeus Report post Posted March 14, 2008 Two quick questions.. Um I have heard two different sides on items and chances of breaking. 1) Was that items can onlt take so much use (E.G. How much use had that thing had?? and Is it fresh made?) 2) Items have a 1/xxx amount of breaking.... Which is it? I always thought it was the first but I have been told otherwise. Some are very low chance of breaking (Thermal Serp) Others are very high chance of breaking (Harv Med) Your chance of breaking on the first use is the same chance of breaking on the last use. For instance, some have had COL that lasted many hours of fighting - finally it breaks. They go grab another and the second COL breaks within the first hour fighting. It's purely a matter of statistics (or luck as some non-believers call it). Same as chance for making enriched esses - your chance of making an EFE on the first fire essence is the same as your chance of making an EFE on the 100,000 fire essence. Just because you've made 100,000 fire essences, doesn't mean you're any more likely to make one than when you first started making them. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It means all people fighting with that will break about in total 1000 when taking million hits. And of course all can break during the first day they do fight with it. This is the most powerful weapon in the game, but it has a very high break rate (about 10% each hit without a NMT, and 2.5% with a NMT). This weapon is designed for PK only, and since it's a new and highly experimental item it's stats and/or price might change. Well, you have to ask Ent if he changed it. Thus, wearing additional items does not lower the break rate of the item you're concerned about. Tempest Report post Posted March 18, 2008 (edited) i think every hit has the chance 1/xxx to break ur armor even those hits who dont give any damage nor def exp, cause that means the hit was successful, but u just didnt take any damage cause ur phys/vit absorbed it. the hit still counts as a hit tho and may break ur armor.
