MikeH Report post Posted January 16, 2006 Liam Gallagher says U2 should lighten up a bit. And U2 should listen to him...why? because U2 sucks, and bono's ego is eating his brain. I dont think he's noticed it yet, but he's not a super hero. and Oasis isnt that great, i have no idea how they got as big as they are.
desdamona Report post Posted January 16, 2006 - Noel Gallagher "I love playing music. It's a gift that was given to me by whoever dishes out these talents to people...and as long as I believe I have something valid to put out as a piece of music then I'll keep doing it. As soon as I feel it's not, I'll stop and do something else like open a chippy or work in a butcher's shop." - Noel Gallagher its all about rock and roll maaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnn!!!! love des
dragburn Report post Posted January 16, 2006 That list i put on th forum is the official greatest band list in the world as voted for by vigin records, customers hmm virgin records customers are the music connisuers of the world now eh? and greatest band list? looked more like an album list to me... you do know that almost anything with the virgin label on it is going to be plastered all over mtv right? now around the 90's what did mtv do? and besides you sound like Noel's stalker or something. perhaps you should listen to some real bands like alice in chains or L7 (yes i like them too) in order to flush this idolism from your mind. Kendai Report post Posted January 16, 2006 Teehee, I've never heard of Oasis before you mentioned them, Desdamona. What kind of music do they play? I'm a big Pink Floyd fan, and classic rock in general. I also wonder if anyone here has heard of the band The Birthday Massacre, or their song "Blue." Great song, if rather unusual

desdamona Report post Posted January 18, 2006 Heroes The people i love Liam Gallagher 'They say rock n rolls dead, while i'm breathing its alive' Well everyone i've ever met knows who he is (excpet one bloke but he was bald so obviously doesn't count), so theres not much i can say thats gonna make you love him any more or any less. I'm still gonna say it tho Hes the best singer this country has ever seen, not neccessarily in ability, or technique or anything like that (do you care if he practices breathing techniques everynight?). But he suits the music better than anyone else i can name. Download Headshrinker, and listen in awe to the best vocals you're ever going hear. Truly god like. Noel Gallagher 'We're the best band in the country, thats not arrogance, its a fact' Liams (see above) undeneiably taleneted brother. A simple but adept guitar player and the best song writer to have walked the land. The funniest man i've ever heard in an interview, download any interview with him and check out his wit. Loves his fans ('Being asked for an autogrpah is the best feeling in the world') and is outspoken in every subject. In short, the man wrote The Masterplan, and put it out as a b-side, so not only is he amazing hes also quite obviously insane. its getting better maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan love DES
