Guest Report post Posted November 27, 2003 Yes, a torch would be very nice, it would help add some more atmosphere, and a bit of realism(i mean would you travel "miles" through the forests without a light or flame?). Hadiak Report post Posted November 29, 2003 torches are good idea. if is there problem with more then 8 lights, then only player controlled character's torch is with active light, other chars w/o active lights. thats only +1 light to scene. and; torchs will be good that they can be manufactured: knife/sword + tree/bush + tinderbox. It would be amusing to see invasions during the nights with people standing on the walls with torches to light the monstes below so the archers can shoot them down. Of course, that would require including the torch-range, changing light conditions and the like and their impact on ranging. However, that would be absolutely epic!
