Disengagement Spell

I think an excellent spell would be on that allows you to disengage and then have the monster magnestism trait for 1 minute. You could also create new sigils to be used (or use existing)

 

Suggested spell mechanics

Sigils: Temporary, Increase, Charm?, Self?

Spell name: Combat Ward?

Spell Level: 40

Spell Cost: 40

 

 

Thoughts?

The 'mechanics' of the spell make sense, but isnt it a little unoriginal? Perhaps making it too easy to avoid aggressive monsters?

Possibly but in all likelyhood, that would more then likely cause you to take some serious damage in doing so. It'd be way too easy to do otherwise.

No way.

 

Then no one would ever get killed in PK.

 

EDIT: An exaggeration of course, but it would make White Tiger summons and JS of Cooldown much less useful, and a lot less people will get killed in PK.

 

If i can manage to get out of NC arena with 3 people catching my disses, then dissing from combat is easy enough.

I was wondering... the thread is 3 years old. The idea hasn't been implemented. Why to revive a dead, stinky and buried thread?

While I'm against this idea as a crafter (even though I don't really sell disengagement rings and if I would, it would be at a serious loss anyways), I wouldn't think being able to flee from cooldown devices is abad thing, I'm pretty sure people would love to be able to :)

Well I'll throw my 2 cents in here

 

Personally, this could be great as long as it doesn't work when fighting other players. Summons perhaps, but NOT other players.

On the flip side, dis rings would have their value killed a bit. Not neccesarily because tons of people are casting the spell, it's still a lvl 40 spell, but the idea of a dis spell would kill the incentives to buy a dis ring
