Roja Report post Posted July 1, 2007 Me & Ghrae updated the main website: http://www.eternal-lands.com/index.php Mainly to make the whole thing a bit wider, but I also updated the graphics a bit too. Please let us know here if you find anything out of place on it, but it should be all good *You may have to hit refresh on your browser to see the new graphics* "when r u gonna update the screenshots??!???" Yes I know the screenshots are a little out of date-eventually they will be updated, but not now however so don't submit any to me until I ask

ttlanhil Report post Posted July 1, 2007 Nothing large, but a few comments: - The black outlines around critters across the top. Mostly it looks good and gives the illusion of depth, especially on the critters on the right side, but the outline around the unicorn seems... I don't know, more lines than curves, like it was cut out. (The outlines also give somewhat a stainglass window look, which is fun.) - The compass in the middle of the bar on the bottom doesn't do anything; it could be a link to a site-map type page or similar. - Not really related to the current changes, but I was looking at the developers page, and I think it might be a bit easier to read if the sections were split up. Otherwise I like it, the trees on either side look nice
bkc56 Report post Posted July 1, 2007 Mainly to make the whole thing a bit wider, but I also updated the graphics a bit too. It does look a lot nicer, but I wish you hadn't made it wider. I don't run my windows full-screen. So anytime a web-site doesn't scale for the browser width I end up having to scroll left/right to see everything. I prefer web-sites that scale so the left/right margins are always visible and the center panel shrinks/expands to use the available space. Of course there's still a minimum width, but I don't make my windows THAT small.
Learner Report post Posted July 1, 2007 I'll have to test it out on the Tap/Ranking pages to see how it works there as well.
Ermabwed Report post Posted July 1, 2007 I agree with bkc on the width situation, plus the Linux download link image shouldn't have a border (it's one of the mirrors for windows version too), it's just not designed for that
Nintenduh Report post Posted July 1, 2007 (edited) It looks a bit strange in konqueror. Here's a screenie. Works fine in firefox. Really nice! Edit: Now it looks fine. I was pretty sure I refreshed. Edited July 1, 2007 by Nintenduh
Sergey Report post Posted July 1, 2007 (edited) It looks a bit strange in konqueror. Here's a screenie. Works fine in firefox. Work fine for me in firefox 2 and konqueror 3.5.7. Screenshot looks like my first load in firefox, without pressing refresh button. edit: Forgot to say that it looks nice Edited July 1, 2007 by Sergey
