Mugwump Report post Posted February 18, 2007 Sure wish I got out more! The last movie I went to see was 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas', which was a blast! Johnny Depp is great, but then he's the only current 'star' I've seen. My big issue is the theaters, there is only one left in my area that shows one movie at a time on a big screen and that's what I'm used to. There's a 22 screen chain theater in the local mega-mall, but you won't find me there! The last local show was in a tiny shopping center showing the offbeat movies with ratty seats and torn carpet. Perfect for Fear and Loathing. Before that I saw 'Henry and June' there, another goodie. Now that theater is a local Bollywood venue and very popular. I'm tempted to go see a film, but the crowds are immense (for a US redneck county) and everyone smells like really, really, good food so I'm too hungry for the flicks! Curry goat anyone? Maybe I should break down and start looking at teevee......
