walder Report post Posted February 2, 2004 i think that the map should be a little more like diablo 2 style... u can see the map outlines and houses, but it is mostly transparent so that you can walk and look on the map at the same time. its easier to find particular places and houses this way
Learner Report post Posted February 2, 2004 One of the attraction of this game is having to explore and discover what is out there!
Roja Report post Posted February 2, 2004 yeah it doesn't take long to learn your way around the maps...so explore, have a small challenge for yourself
Grum Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Ehhhmmm...yeah. Ordinary people should learn their way pretty quickly. I still get lost in the crystal caverns though...

Alastria Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Hey Leeloo, what would be the name for the cave file so it would pop up when you hit tab in the cave? I've been trying to draw one myself (haven't gotten very far yet, though)...I'd like it to be accessible for the game instead of flipping back and forth.. Kasgoroth Report post Posted February 3, 2004 @Roja: guess how many self-drawn maps of old RPGs I have lying around? yeah... I've gotten I bit lazy and prefer 3D-maps now  *looking at a pen and a plane piece of paper* hmm... ... *EDIT:* btw: how to get into the overview mode within the map editor? I've read the manual, but I couldn't find any option that does that, only "m" for minimap.
Entropy Report post Posted February 3, 2004 *EDIT:* btw: how to get into the overview mode within the map editor? I've read the manual, but I couldn't find any option that does that, only "m" for minimap. There is no such overview option.
