Low FPS with new update

Recommended Posts

my laptop that have 8 mb video card .

i can not play el on my laptop any more .

it take 9 seconds just to turn my camera .

it take 9 seconds just to make my char walk .

it take 9 seconds just to harvest .

My opinion is important .

i suggest that the programmer keep the version 1.0.0

so I can play el on my laptop.

:D:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

I dont experience any drop in FPS compared to the last version. Well, if i activate shadow mapping, sure it is.

ow many FPS did you have in version 1.00 on your laptop, jacobin?

I'm using the linux client (not that that should have anything to do with it) and i notice a drastic drop in FPS aswell

I had about 15-25 FPS at first (unless i was in crowded areas, or in areas with a lot of objects, then it would drop to about 5)

and now i have 0 FPS, sometimes 1 FPS

even when I disable all the eyecandy like shadows and stuff, and even when i set the poor_guy variable to 1

has the new version become that much resource intensive?? :P

Queer, because my Intel 845 (:phear:) has experienced a slight FPS increase.

If you're in tarsengaard, yes, FPS will decrease, but only due to the amount of objects. If you zoom way out (farther than you need to), you'll render more objects... really, it' not the client's fault...
