I'm suppose to sit back and do nothing while my freedom of expression and free speech are trampled upon by someone who won't even admit there wrong doing, or give me the reason for their actions. And in this case it was I beleive 4 posts that got deleted of mine... I had plans to post to the original post before it got moved to "A forum I don't have access to..." I personaly feel I had a right to know the outcome and why this potential peice of EL history was being removed from public access... Cicero, feel free to do as you see fit and I will answer acordingly, but until I read that this rule has been revoked then I will no longer be posting to the EL forum and I will be visiting it much much less. You most likely don't care, perhaps it was even you who deleted my original posts, but that dosen't matter either. If you plan to run a forum that can be manipulated and abused by the people you place in charge, and you expect me to not question there abuses and actions then well you probably can guess where this is going. You have the Right to Run your forum as you see fit, just as I have the right to not particpate in a forum that I feel is being run in a way that is unfair and unethical. You tell me not to question authority, I question what gave you the authority to tell me this. If using the EL forum gives you the right to tell me how to think and act, then I revoke your authority over me, by not particpating any longer in your forum... perhaps if it had been run more properly in the first place it wouldn't have come to this. I can not continue to contribute to a forum where things are going to be censored, and the people who have control of the forum Block people from seeking information after it has been removed without explanation. Like I said in my other post, from now on a thread will have to really deserve to be locked to be locked...as I can understand that people have a need to talk and discuss things, especially important issues. Jebus Report post Posted December 6, 2004 (edited) Not entirely true. I got suspended for posting in the ban forum. But look at how many other people frequently post there. It's over and done, but it think it's unfair that other people can do the same thing as I did (someone will use the excuse "i did it too often") and not even get a warning about it. What really happened, I think, is that I told Soldus to fuck off for just cause and got banned, but they used the ban forum as an excuse. You have been wonderful to me and I appreciate the sentimenet, unfortunately if things are going to continue to degrade the way the have then I belive it's best for me to leave before I get banned. You all put a lot of hard work and effort into this forum and I appreciate all that you have done and worked so hard to acheive here, but my time on the forum has come to an end. It was not simply a matter of locking and or deleting a thread, it's the whole general principal for me really. People who are in power should have to answer for there actions, otherwise you can't expect the people they have power over to respect them or follow them.
