Ember Report post Posted June 12, 2004 Is there a way for a successor to the guild master? If a guild master quits the game or wants to retire from mastering an otherwise active guild, can someone else acquire guild master status? Yes, there will be a command to transfer the ownership. When will that command be coming? If I may ask (The one where you can transfer ownership i.e. guild master privileges)

pwest Report post Posted August 26, 2004 Ok, here is a list with the commands for guilds: #make_guild It's obvious what it does. You'll need 5K platinum (which will dissapear, after you make the guild), and you need at least 1 skill over 39. #destroy_guild Obvious (you require privilege 20 in your guild) #set_name Sets your guild name. Guild names have to be unique. Only guild masters can do that. The name can be changed at a later time. #set_desc Sets a guild description. Something like: "Our guild is kewl, and we kill players and we gather in Portland, at 45 433" Requires privilege 10 #set_url This sets the guild site URL, so people can see the guild website. Requires privilege 10 #set_join_info This sets the join info field, so people can know what are the conditions to join a guild. Requires privilege 10 #join_guild name Join a guild. You need at least a skill over 20 #leave_guild Leave your guild, you can't join another guild for 2 ingame days. #accept name Requires privilege 15. #remove name Remove someone from the guild. You need a privilege of at least 19. A removed player doesn't need to wait 2 days to join some other guild. #change_rank name Change someone's rank/privilege Requires privilege 19 #gm message Sends a blue message to eevryone in the guild. Requires privilege 5. #guild_info name Gets you info about a guild. #jc guild Joins you to the guild channel. You won't be able to attack the players in your guild or cast offensive spells on them. Your summoned animals won't attack your guild mates either. both this and the website is missing the #set_short_name (name) command

Derin Report post Posted January 5, 2005 The latest command, which will allow you to change ownership is: #change_owner name Transfers ownership of your guild to another player. Question: after transfering your guild to another member what will your rank be, or will you simply be kicked out?

Ember Report post Posted January 30, 2005 To make a guild: you need a skill lvl (not including overall) at or above 39 and 30K gold UP DATED LIST OF GUILD COMMANDS #make_guild It's obvious what it does. #destroy_guild Obvious (you require privilege 20 in your guild) #set_name Sets your guild name. Guild names have to be unique. Only guild masters can do that. The name can be changed at a later time. #set_desc Sets a guild description. Requires privilege 10 #set_join_info This sets the join info field, so people can know what are the conditions to join a guild. Requires privilege 10 #change_owner name This alowes you to switch the current leader of your guild. You must be the guild leader to do this, and of right now i dont think it informes the other person that you are giving the guild to, but it sets your rank to 19 once switched. Requires Privilege 20 (means you have to be the guild master) #set_short_name (4 letters/number/symbles here) This option alowes you to creat a guild tag for your guild (ex. #set_short_name >^^< ) Requires privilege 19 #join_guild name Join a guild. #change_rank name (rank number here) Change someone's rank/privilege Requires privilege 19 #gm message Sends a blue message to eevryone in the guild. Requires privilege 5. #guild_info name Gets you info about a guild. #jc guild Joins you to the guild channel. You won't be able to attack the players in your guild or cast offensive spells on them. Your summoned animals won't attack your guild mates either. if i am forgeting anything please inform me and i will correct it
Ember Report post Posted October 28, 2005 we added some new, not extensively tested code, to allow those with a privilege of over 17 to add colors for other guilds. The new commands are as follows: #set_guild_color short_guild_name color Example: #set_color =ef= red This will cause everyone in your guild to see the players in the =ef= witha red guild tag. #view_guild_colors (no parameters) Displays the colors assigned to other guilds. Ent can we get a list of all avalable colors? so far i know -pink gold silver gray black- do not work but -purple light_blue dark_red blue green orange- works so far
ttlanhil Report post Posted October 29, 2005 Ent can we get a list of all avalable colors? so far i know -pink gold silver gray black- do not work but -purple light_blue dark_red blue green orange- works so far 214539[/snapback] I posted this in the thread about the development of this, but I'm too lazy to find it... unless it has since changed, the following is the colour list: (whoo, example colours too! well, that's why I did it the first time) Ent did note that some of the colours weren't great, so the list may change

Derin Report post Posted October 31, 2005 (edited) The guild color coding allows you to set colors for your guild and other guilds. Only you and your guildmates will see the selected colors. You need privilege 18 or higher to set these colors. The command is: #set_guild_color <guild tag> <color> The available colors are red dark_red blue light_blue dark_blue green dark_green yellow dark_yellow purple dark_purple grey brown orange These colors will look like (from Ttlanhil's post): Edited October 31, 2005 by Derin
Aislinn Report post Posted October 31, 2005 Hmm actually they don't look so much like that in normal game play, without the black background. I was hoping ent would change some of them as well, since some aren't the greatest looking. And as of now, there isn't a way to get the default golden color back yet. DemonCowboy Report post Posted April 4, 2006 hey ent what about when a guild gets left with a person that dosnt have guild master ablites so he cant promote people to his level? The latest command, which will allow you to change ownership is: #change_owner name Transfers ownership of your guild to another player. Question: after transfering your guild to another member what will your rank be, or will you simply be kicked out? ok what if a guild leader leaves suddenly (like fatal accident IRL or something) is there a way for a co-leader to get ownership in a case like that or does that particular guild have to die w/ them? because i've played a few games that something has happened to some1 like that something happened IRL and they just disappeared what if anything can b done about this?
