Oi,

 

First part of question is, where does Rationality apply?

On all skills? If not, on which one it does?

 

Does Rationality apply only on experience gained by gathering skill's exp,

or does it apply on quests also?

(Haidir,base exp for quest e.g. 5000,

so 5000 + rationality or 5000 * rationality?)

 

 

And follow up question, if I start worshipping e.g. Alchemy Goddess,

does Rationality looses affect?

Or does it adds up to it?

(say 4% more alchemy exp points on base exp points, plus rationality?)

Ok, let's start explaining:

 

Harv skill = full rationality bonus

Mix skill = rationality/2 bonus

magic skill = rationality/2 bonus

a/d skill = rationality/3 bonus

range skill = rationality/4 bonus

 

So, for optimum benefit keep your rationality in multiples of 12

 

Quest xp are based on fixed rewards or level, no rationality involved here.

 

Worshipping gods adds up with rationality, an example:

Leather helmet: base xp 45 + rationality bonus of 12 = 57xp * 1.2 (when fully serving god) = 68.4xp (rounded down to 68xp).

Mix skill = rationality/2 bonus ... is this alchemy?

 

and to finalize,

you mentioned 6 skills, (Harv, Mix (alchemy?), magic, attack, defence, range )

Does that mean that for other skills rationality does NOT apply?

All skills that use the mix window: alchemy, potion, crafting, manu, engineering, tailoring, summoning.

Since the rationality bonus is an addition instead of a multiplier, you will find that the God bonus is much more effective for things that give you more xp and so it really helps while grinding low level items. Of course, you can only worship gods that get along with eachother and unless I am mistaken, this still restricts you to worshipping only 3 gods.

By the way, I tend to have a rationality bonus of at least 12 on all my characters. Part of the reason is the xp and part of it is that I don't want to spend all eternity reading a book.

Aluwen - Goddess of Defense

Enemies: Mortos and Selain

 

Elandria - Goddess of Alchemy

Enemies: Zarin and Mortos

 

Glilin - God of Manufacturing

Enemies: Selain and Lucaa

 

So if you chose any additional god not listed in enemies you could have 4th but not allowed I believe.

I am new to game, well two months now,

and I put all my pickpoints in

6 artificial nexus level,

160 EMU and

all the rest in Rationality, now level 27.

 

I'll keep doing Rationality for quite a while,

as I figure, it is best at the beginning...

(also my ethereality, dexterity, perception

and matter is growing along)

 

I read that I can later on 're-do' my attributes,

if there will be a need for it...

 

 

And I would love if Lucaa could be worshipped...

What you have read about is a 'reset'. You don't just get your pps back for reassignment. You are reduced to over all lvl 0. Which is to say you have to earn them ALL back once you've reset. So it's not a good idea to place pps in a manner that you have to certainly change later on.

Reassignment without losing lvls can only be done using the corresponding removal stones. But they are very costly. For example the will removal stone is something like 50k gc in game now. So for example if you have 24 will and need to reduce it to 4 later, you will have to spend 1 Million gc for the stones.

You are only allowed to worship 3 gods at the same time.

That is what I figured too. I just didn't know if anything changed recently. I don't know if any of the new gods are in place yet either. I never really bothered to check. Too busy AFKing.
