Working on some siggys/avatars in school

What do you think? and which of the 2 should I use? I'll be working on more during spare time so keep an eye out

I agree with LV/anshar/kheres.

The sigs don't flow very well, they're just kinda all over the place. Great avvies though, IMHO

The first is my favorite, but it needs a border.

If you use Photoshop, I would add about a 2-3 pixel border for definition.

The other ones I don't really like. But hey, thats just my opinion.

however im curious what techniques you all use for it, since i have little experience with it and would loooooove to learn

PS: the thing in my signature is standard background with colored letters so its not as advanced

First one is just bad >.< Maybe it's just my taste, but this is just hurting my eyes. Second one ain't bad, yet, the text is almost impossible to read (is it Dekke?). Third one is ok, yet, too gloomy and single-colour. Last one - well, I just don't really like such siggies;p

1st one is not my favorite, 3rd one is the best if you ask me. yet the bottom two are still too dark if you ask me, but theyre not bad at all

if i could read the 2nd one i would like it quite alot then i like the 3rd one then i like the 4th then the 1st

 

just asking if you take a picture and put it in a siggy were do you guys get them from? just google images? are their any good sites that can give you good pic's for sigs? i just googled to make mine but i never seem to get the rite sort of thing (i was lucky with the cow lol) or do i just have to search harder
