With the current number of players, it's indeed very unlikely that EL will win (with or without cheating). But at least we can make ourselves more known to the game playing people out there.

 

EDIT: and yeah, voting once a day is not cheating, that's what the system is for.

Its not about being number one, its about being closest to the top as possible. When you look for a new game to play there, you usually check them from the top down and since a lot of those games are text based, those who want something better will notice EL. Everybody is cheating on this so there is no way to win withouth doing it, unless you have 1k active players that will vote every day, but since ppl are lazy, others vote more times instead of them

btw, the visuals (snapshots) for EL on mpogd suck, they should be replaced with some that show the interface, people, animals, monsters etc

that is because you have a firewall on. The same happens when i have Zone Alarm on, it probably wont let them check you IP whitch they do to see if you already voted today

Ok I know you can all vote once every 24 hours from the same IP as that is allowed but what you are doing here is called cheating. You can dress it up in as many fancy words as you want to but basically it comes down to the same thing. Eternal Lands is a fantastic game so why soil it by going to these great lengths?
