The problem is the following: Everytime I try to connect with my char I get a windows message of error saying that EL found an error and had to be closed. However, I can connect with an old char, normally. I was playing all the morning with "Wolfeng" and logged off for lunch time. When I tried to log on, it started doing this odd thing. Informatios Char Name: Wolfeng Char Race: Male Human Char Location: Storage of Portland OS: Windows SP2 Language: Braziliann Video Card: GForce 5500 256 Ram Other Informations: Processor Athlon 1800+, 40gb Total Space, 512 Total RAM, Sound Card Onboard, Connection Speedy 256kbps. In a nut shell: I've never had a problem with graphics in EL. Always running with a 35 Frames per Second. Is somebody can help me, I'll appreciate. Thanks for your patience, Wolfeng. Char Name: Melisande Char Race: Female Elf Char Location: Storage of Portland (or somewhere near that) OS: Windows XP Video Card: Radeon 9600 x86/SSE2 everytime i tried to log in, FPS was stuck at 1, and after that the client crashed. i tried to log several times with the same result, my alt logged without problems. Ishan Report post Posted February 4, 2008 (edited) My fiancee is having the same issue, she logged in today fine, but upon entering Portland storage she crashed, and now everytime she tries to load her character she get a windows fatal error. her char race=Dragoni where her char is=Portland storage her OS=wndows SP2 her video card=nvidia onboard (Nvidia GeForce 6150 LE) her Processor=AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3800+ 2.41GHz 512MB ram Not sure what his specs for comp are, but Shakyamuni has also called me and informed me of the same issue His char race=Dwarf Where=PL storage OS=Windows Vista(ebul vista) videocard=nvidia geforce 7300 LE Edited February 4, 2008 by Ishan_Shade Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

spirited Report post Posted February 4, 2008 The same is happening to me. i was in Portland Store when i logged off last night..... when i logged on this morning..... i was there for about 5 seconds and then got the same error message. Each time i have tried to log on since then.. i have got same error message and the client has closed immediately. i am able to log on PK Server though..... totally sucessfully. The message I get is that EL client has encountered a problem and needs to close. If anyone is still having a problem with this you can download this file here: http://www.eternal-lands.com/misc/head3_orchanf.cmf And place it in your meshes folder inside your Eternal Lands directory. Sikaflex Report post Posted February 6, 2008 (edited) Hello, Haven't played in ages and I'm getting the same problem (client crashes after statusbar goes to 100%) when trying to login now. I just today downloaded latest client for Windows. I copied the file supplied by Roja over the file included with client, but that did not fix the problem... can't remember where I left the character as last time I played was months ago. It could very well be at PL storage, though. Same name in-game as here. OS is latest Windows XP with all patches installed, graphics card Intel i830M. edit: installed the 1.5.0 patch, too. Didn't help. further: Just to narrow things a bit, I attempted creating a new character. That crashes as well right after clicking 'I Accept' button under the rules. Maxine Report post Posted February 6, 2008 Sikaflex, try turning 'poor man' on in the options before you log on. When you get the login window, click ctrl+o and then select 'poor man' in the 'Detail' window. If you can log on with that selected, it is most likely an issue with your graphics card.
