If you installed to the default directory, the shortcut should point to "C:\Program Files\Eternal Lands\el.exe" including the quotes. [17:16:02] No language set so defaulting to [en] and using language selection window EL possibly cannot find your EL.INI - follow Ent's initial instructions. [17:16:06] Error opening sound configuration file[17:16:07] Unknown battlecry sound (Battlecry Female1) in actor def: human female ...etc... You either haven't downloaded the sound file, or you have extracted it to the wrong folder. Alternatively, you can just turn off sound effects in your EL.INI. I would repeat the instructions here, but I don't have a lot of time right now and a forum search will get you the info. I turned poorman on, etc, with the same results. That one is not an error, it's just for information. It has nothing to do with a missing el.ini file.
