I would just like to take a moment to thank everyone that healed me during the last radiation day while I was AFK. I know... I should have been inside, but was very tired and thought oh I'll go to sleep and maybe my book will be read when I wake up lol.

Btw, a little secret: Some armor and items, if you wear them, will reduce or even nullify the effect on the solar flares day.

With fast reg cape, no powerhungry and full food bar you can survive for 45 minutes + (your health)/2 + time generous ppl keep you alive

Wrong actually - I believe the damage is not hot/cold, but radiation.

 

Plate armor protects against flares, I believe. (At least, I didn't receive a single hit from flares while armored).

So, you wear your full plate while AFK to protect against radiation, then then get an acid rain day and return to find your full plate melted into a pool of slag around your feet.

 

I think I'll just AFK inside somewhere thank you very much.

oh, that explains why i was in the underworld after i came back school yesterday
