No Anim: ./animations/player_slash1.caf

Recommended Posts

Subject says it all "No Anim: ./animations/player_slash1.caf"

I've seen this bug reported a few times before but without a final conclusion or fix. In my case I've had numerous forms of the same bug. In most cases I've been able to copy other files and change the name to make the error log happy. In this particular case, I get hundreds of these errors every time I open the game.

Any fixes? Any patches coming up that will solve this?

If I remember right, you have to rename a rile or something like that...

Re-read my post. I've tried copying / renaming files to match.

This error has shown a remarkable staying power.

Here is a work-around for the error:

Search for ./animations/player_slash2.caf

Copy it to a different directory and rename it to: player_slash1.caf

the copy the renamed file to ./animations/ and overwrite the old player_slash1.caf

Seems like a long way to make a copy, but that way did seem to work.

I get only 1 error now (and only repeated once, not 100s of times):

No Anim: ./animations/canine_idlel.caf

This is better than what I had before - thanks
