Puntif Report post Posted September 9, 2005 I'm trying to help a guildmate who is having trouble and I've run out of suggestions. The error occurs when he attempts to logon to his character. He gets the Dev C/C++ error message. He's running Win XP home SP2. It's a notebook with 256 RAM. This is a new computer - he downloaded the full EL client. His video HW appears to be VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP . . . His error_log is at EL client error log. Any ideas where to look? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Derin Report post Posted September 9, 2005 This part of the error log can be ignored: Error: Problems loading texture: ./textures/fontv.bmp Error: Problems loading texture: ./textures/particle5.bmp Error: Problems loading texture: ./textures/particle6.bmp Error: Problems loading texture: ./textures/particle7.bmp Thye rest can be due to an inferior graphics card and/or not updated drivers. Even if it's a new computer it is very likely that there are more current drivers available. To my knowledge it can also be a RAM issue, as in too low.
