im getting an error when updating my drivers

when i start the setup from nvidia the following msg comes up (translated from dutch so take a wide interpretation of some words):"the NVIDIA installation programm could not find drivers that are compatibel with your current hardware. the installationprogramm will now shut down"

 

whilst im sure thati have nvidia vanta drivers so this is really weird

What OS? What NVIDIA Chip/card?

Please search google for your particular card's driver.

However looking back at your old thread and searching for nvidia vanta. Im sorry to say it seems that your card is very old the actual vanta chipset being releases in 1999. Relase notes I highly doubt youll find a driver that will make it work on EL. Im guessing that your only option would be to get a new one. however with such an old card, your actual system might need a tweaking as well.
