OS?? Messed up config files maybe? el.ini

That fixed it Just a note on files names If you use the file the file is named el.x86_64.linux.bin but the official one is el.x86_x64.linux.bin Just be aware that you need to either rename or fix the startups to match Also a further note on file names the c1 and c2 maps now start with lower case latters but the Olivine map pack has first cap letters in the names. Seems to only be c1 and c2 maps. This would not matter on Windows but it does on Linux. But it is an easy fix

Well FF starts and EL crashes. Note Ihad no problem on the previous version Might need to pull from git but let's see if we get a general update. I can live without the F2 for a while. And in any case the program should not crash on a chain to another program.

Fixed it was the pathe need full path not ~/

New client has no sound throws error at start Error Initializing sound: ALC_INVALID_DEVICE Installed both music and sound from the website This machine is running with Pulse Audio. Had no problem with previous version Also have not yet figure the trick to use the eternalland.sh no mater what el.init file I find and modify to point to the new install directory no go. It looks like ths shell does not do all that much but it does scan the ~/.elc/main/el.ini file for the eternalland string and if not found it chokes with the error message. But all my personal stuff is still in ~/.elc In any case I can't see anything in the shell kick starter to cause a problem with the sound??? Any thaughts?

Shipwreck Say one in 1000 there is a chance to become shipwrecked when using a boat. You would then need to do one of several simple quest to get back to the main maps. The quest would be level based and one would be to kill something the other would be a harvest. The NPC would be named Friday of course. Also tel to portal spells do not work Shipwreck 2 Same but the chance to get shipwrecked is that 1 or more random times a day for 1 to 2 min any who travel by boat get caught. This way a random group gets stranded. Then they would need to do some task that requires cooperation to leave. Possibly the NPC would provide bows and arrows (removed from inv on return to the world) and the group needs to kill some high level creature (icy??) I'll try that I see the first pic not the second, it only shows here when the bow is drawn I have not seen it any where else. NVIDIA 6800 card. I know it is ancient but normally it has been very very good.

New problem in Linux version I'd not done any ranging until yesterday there is a render glitch that puts a white rectangle on the bow and arm when the bow is drawn. I have seen this reported earlier but thought it was fixed. Using the 2012-02-12 client. Maybe I'm missing a graphic element??? I have had a bit of problems with ownership of files in some situation but thought I got that all sorted. Not sure if the problem was in earlier version since I don't do too much ranging at the moment.

Found a bug in Linux client. OS OpenSUSE 10.4 Press F6 to get full transparent change maps. clock/pos/skills offset to right does not come back with anything I tried.

You DO need to equip pan to get the ten cooked meat. You DO NOT have to select 10.
