Jaxbot Report post Posted March 18, 2008 Hey, quick question about guard bots: Do they have automatic true sight (like how bots are immune to invasion monsters), or does the owner have to have it cast every 90 or seconds and supply ings? LabRat Report post Posted March 18, 2008 But be aware, from my take on it from a chat in the long distant past, the bot informing you of an invisible character (eg via #gm or PM) would be classed as an illegal interaction between you and the bot. I may be wrong but that definitely sticks in my head for some reason. As to who it was I discussed it with erm pass. I have harvested silver since then. So I have to disable the #GM message that informs me of a visitor/intruder if their invisible? From the client (actors.c:1127): buffs=((*((char *)(in_data+3))>>3)&0x1F) | (((*((char*)(in_data+5))>>3)&0x1F)<<5); // Strip the last 5 bits of the X and Y coords for the buffs basically, when you get the new player info, the x and y words also hold the buffs in their high bits. Simply put, check the high byte of X, bit 3 (if my maths are correct!) LabRat Report post Posted March 19, 2008 again, from what I have done and seen recently: First year $100 Every year after that $20 UNLESS you buy another bot blessing ($100) in which case the next yearly $20 is waived.
