weaverdas Report post Posted August 14, 2007 Same here. Do we need to contact sbc individually? Are they still "working" on this? Hopefully they are working on it, contacting them wont hurt, but be patient, it may take some time until this bug is fixed. By above.net, not by EL, Eternal Lands has nothing to do with your problems, thats it. Piper Is it above.net, or is is it narrowed to AT&T/SBC?

Learner Report post Posted August 15, 2007 This is exactly some of the types of problems that the EL Premium Proxy Service would be able to help with. But, it's been a lower priority since the number of people in the Poll being willing wi oay for it to help cover the costs wasn't very high. It does look like there are enough people, but would loose money for the first 6 months or so while people slowly found it useful.

Darwin2M Report post Posted August 15, 2007 Response from Above.net is that they have no problem reaching EL server on their end. Still, a trace shows my ping stopping at them.

Tassie Report post Posted August 15, 2007 OK am contacting At&t maybe they can do something to get above.net off their high horses? Its been since 8am this morning and I am having withdrawals dangit!
The_Piper Report post Posted August 15, 2007 omfg, is this still not solved? Well I still cant..I give up for now..Above.net says its EL ..Piper checked and it isnt so..Blah I didnt check anything, i just read the traceroutes the players posted. And when every single traceroute stops at above.net, i would blame them and not EL or any ISP. Maybe emailing their support to death and opening tickets like mad may help to get finally their attention. Or just start throwing onions at them.
