Again in this latter case, everybody's chances are increased, but it doesn't matter if I am the only one logged on or if there are 200 people mixing. The idea of what he stated seems like it might be correct. I'm far to ignorant of the situation to say yes or no but it sounds plausable. Is there any way that it can be tested?

Just to update you all who cared enough to message me in game about this issue... After a conversation with radu I found out it's not illegal to give out guild map locations and they are not considered game secrets. I'm sure it was a misunderstanding by a moderator or moderators. All is forgiven and I hope we can put this behind us. My actions with my alt was to have some fun, I didn't realize it angered anyone as quite often people in @@6 are laughing and having a good time killing guard bots (mainly CO bot). So for starters I still apologize to the people I offended with the actions of my alt and after a day to think it over I will continue to do this event as so many poured in support for me over this issue. I just hope that the moderators can find it in their hearts to forgive me and help keep this event a active one. EL really needs events like this for its players. Sincerely, PaulB GM of BO$$

I just wanted to take the time to thank anyone who helped me make this event a great one. Sadly for many, I will no longer be running events. I feel I owe you a reason for this. Earlier today I took my bomber alt and decided to go have some fun killing guard bots with another couple players. We had a great time and I invited some people to join in with us on channel 6. I gave them the location of the map and how to enter it. Apparently this is against the game rules as guild maps are considered game secrets. I did not know this at the time I invited others to join in. For that I am sorry. I really didn't know guild maps were considered game secrets. For this unintentional action of mine the moderation team refused to help me announce the event, thus decreasing the amount of players able to join in due to lack of knowledge that event was running. I again thank the many players who have helped make this event a great one and I am sorry for unintentionally breaking a rule I didn't know existed. PaulB GM of BO$$

Can someone explain the math or logic behind this statement, it makes no sense to me from a probability point of view. Their logic for their statement is clear as day. If that's how it works is up for speculation but the logic in their argument is there in black and white. I bold it for you.

Also would like to add the conversation in 6 so those who were not here understand the conversation which brought this topic up. I added bold to key points in question.

After speaking with radu in PM I got some firm answers on the topic at hand. For starters, there was no system in place before astro that was astro like as some have stated. There was talk that before astro was put into the game that there was some system that varied by the hour instead of how astro works now. This is not true. This iinformation came from radu himself. Also, there were a few people saying that astro was for fighters only and that harvesters/mixers still had astro effects. This is also not true. Anyone who has skeptic is skeptic completely. Not just a/d and magic as some stated in channel 6 earlier in the week. I explained to radu about the conversation in 6 and he agreed that the people stating such were incorrect. Skeptic removes all astro effects from every category. Thanks to radu for clearing this up.

Like the idea, but need thing for players straight from creation, because most quit within half an hour of starting (so usually on IP) or before level 40 afterwards, so this might help the <40 group, but will do nothing to help any that are deterred at start, as well as: Speculation? Where exactly are you getting this information from? @senzon I love the idea of it being a boss monster for low lvls. Another +1

Could you please explain how you came to this reasoning? This whole thread was made with the idea of breaking harvester medallions caused by the increase, not decrease of harvest events due to the CoS perk. Very much on-topic. It could be more on-topic if you could explain why you feel the following view is valid. I'm sure it would help in the topic at hand. Could you explain how you came to this conclusion?

You'd have to find 1 serpent stone per harv med break, or 1 binding per 3 harv med breaks, or 1 enrichment for every 2 harv med breaks... the rareness levels make this not worth it. And I seriously doubt making "reducing the break rate" with the perk would be done to a level that would make it worth it.. And what about the harvested items received between harvest medallion breaks? These hold no gc value? The quoted argument is flawed.

This is your opinion. I wouldn't take this as a general consensus based off your interpretation of others game play style. I think the big issue here is more about the harvester medallion break rates with the CoS perk. More events means more experience, more gold and more blessings. These are all good things. Only downside to it is that you do break more harvester medallions which I agree, can be frustrating. I would think that a possible solution for this problem would be to request through the suggestions section of the forums that with CoS perk the chance to break harvester medallions is also decreased a bit. I would also like to note that weren't you aware of the effects of CoS perk before you took it? No perk should be taken without careful consideration of the risk involved.

Correct me if I am wrong but would more events for astro include a higher chance of finding rare stones which actually help manu workers out in their skills? Sounds like there is a benefit for it the way it is even though you're breaking more harv meds. I didn't vote though because I don't believe there should even be perks in game that alter astrology (besides for skeptic). I just noticed that nobody has even brought up this point about rare finds up in this topic considering all the people who would have this perk are manu workers and need binding/serp/enrichment stones and ofc the most wanted nexus removals.
