Guest Zeplin Report post Posted October 6, 2004 I think there should be a range at beam like Molgar for example, Were summoning isnt able to be done, Or at least a clearly defined rule about it. I get mixed messages from mods nh's and helpers, all with different ruleings on this. And yes, this has been brought up before, And it was mixed responses then iirc. Just flat out ban it, Or make it legal, One or the other, This way we dont get hastled by a few, And told no more then 4, more then 6, Not when there are 5 people there, Not when there are 10, or not at all. Daxon Report post Posted October 9, 2004 I think it's because it's a gathering place (i.e., storages) so it will create lag, and the fact you'll trick a brave newbie into being painted all over IP's soil.
Soldus Report post Posted October 9, 2004 there was a rule once... - no summoning in high traffic areas not sure if it was ever written somewhere or announced by roja then...but i like it. everybody is able to understand it. and it should be enforced

Hazor Report post Posted October 10, 2004 Summoning really strong creatures on IP should be dissallowed also.. Especially fluffy.. how's any random newbie supposed to know a fluffy rabbit is any differant from a normal brown rabbit? Sure, the name is differant, but that doesn't imply anything. Guest Zeplin Report post Posted October 10, 2004 My problem with the ruleing its its conveluded, Sure no summoning at beam, But what counts as high traffic? 4 people? 10 people? Just ban summoning at beam, And be done with it.
