saxum Report post Posted April 23, 2011 With people selling day stones those who use special stones ought to be recognized not just when they use the stone but when people log in and when the #day command is used. As an example this game day was sponsored by Nova and if you had just logged in you would have gotten message: Today is a special day: Day of Aleksei Stakhanov English: 3x experience for harvesting. .... It would be better if it was: Today is a special day sponsored by Nova: Day of Aleksei Stakhanov English: 3x experience for harvesting. Those who log in after day starts could then give thanks to whomever it was due to.

Lexi Report post Posted April 24, 2011 (edited) The message would have to be coded to the #day command until the next 0:00, cause I don;t think it's coded like one would think, which is why it doesn't show up on the #day command, it's coded to display when the stone is used, not when the day is changed. I know only a little bit of code, I think it would be a little challenge to work around LOVE the idea, btw. Edited April 24, 2011 by Lexi
Usl Report post Posted April 24, 2011 (edited) While the idea is fine, keep in mind that the code of a number of bots and other services (e.g., web sites, or the Android widget) would have to be adjusted if the actual message is changed. So, instead of Today is a special day sponsored by Nova:Day of Aleksei Stakhanov English: 3x experience for harvesting. it would be better to have Today is a special day:Day of Aleksei Stakhanov English: 3x experience for harvesting. (sponsored by Nova) or, clumsier, The following message is sponsored by Nova.Today is a special day: Day of Aleksei Stakhanov English: 3x experience for harvesting.
