Transparent minimap?

The minimap gets in the way at times, like many boxes if they were opaque. There could be an option to make it 50 or 75% opaque.

This concept can go for the background of the console/history screen. (Tilda/f1)

 

It's not a really big suggestion, just a minor low priority type of suggestion. I did make a search which did not turn up very much in regards to my topic, however it was only a cursory search.

Put the minimap to the east - below the items and above the skills - and it won't be in the way.

I do have my minimap in that area. But that forces me to move my inventory box (It's already set to small) over a little more to the left covering who I'm fighting at times.

i would like it for all the things to be transparent, that would be very nice.

Basically i like that idea, but i fear, it would look very messy and not really help.

 

Which part of the mini-map should be transparent?
