Guest Silvermane Report post Posted February 27, 2009 I have just switched IP providers and EL no longer launches. I contacted the IP provider who assured me they do not filter ports or block El. I have reinstalled EL to no avail. I can connect to test server but not main. Does the main server not listen to more than 1 port? Alternatively, is there some proxy that I can try...heard about learners proxy but can't seem to find how to purchase/use it. It seems like port 2000 causes problems to more than a few...any thought to using a more common port? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
