Help! Client Crashes After Few minutes of gameplay

I really want to play Eternal Lands, it seems like a good game but the client keeps crashing after few minutes. I have use a Mac 10.4 and I know theres absolutely nothing wrong with my graphics card. It says in the Download Section to edit the "el.ini" file, but I don't know what program to use for a Mac. Any help would be appreciated.

 

PS: I got a few errors in the loading process, don't know if this is normal or not but I'll post it up:

Couldn't find the GL_ARB_texture_non_power_of_two extension, not using it...

 

Couldn't find the GL_ATI_texture_compression_3dc extension, not using it....

 

Couldn't find the GL_EXT_texture_compression_latc extension, not using it...

There's an official mac bug thread here. Have a look though that to see if it helps. If you have not subscribed to the forums still, post more details here and we can make sure someone from that thread takes a look. BTW, you can change the settings in the el.ini file using any text editor or change them directly from the login screen using the "Settings" button. Note in the later case, the changes are only saved when the client exits without crashing; the norm I assure you.
