Zephlix Report post Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) This one is weird, I have a new wireless broadband ISP. I can connect on the test server and do everything, But I am unable to connect on the main server. My Ip isn't banned and this is what Aislinn states he sees; Nope, not banned.Logs show you did connect from that range but were immediately disconnected. I have no idea why though. You might want to check your EL error logs, and post your system specs Also you might want to try to edit your EL.ini first, or in the options window before you try to connect and set it to poorman and try that first. Everytime I try to connect all I get is; Connecting to Server... Disconnected from server! Press Alt-x to close the game Any Ideas? I also tried without both firewall and antivirus, had to try and it was also a suggestion from The_Piper just to see if it was an issue. But if it was an issue I think I would have the same issue with the test server. Also I tried poor man and all graphics enabled. on the test server all works with graphics fully enabled. I can also see the players on line page without no problem Here are my specs, Processor AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual 4400+ at 2.29 GHz RAM 2GB Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 3870 V08.8 OpenGL 6.14.10.7873 512mb Ram Hard drive space 500 GB El. 1.70 OS Windows XP pro SP2 Contents of error_log.txt* -nothing out of ordinary [09:20:03] Error: Server profile not found in servers.lst for server: Lands\el.exe". Gampa Report post Posted September 15, 2008 Contact your new ISP and ask them if they're blocking port 2000. I guess that's the problem since you're able to log on to the test server which is on port 2001.
Sayre Report post Posted September 15, 2008 It could also be something like your personal firewall or router blocking 2000 as well. Although, I doubt this as Aislinn seems to say you DO connect (albeit briefly) Are you running any firewall programs? (they might be blocking inward traffic, but not outward, hence you are able to connect *shrugs*) S.

Thanks Gampa for the imput, I have done that and am currently awaiting to hear from their tech support. They open Monday 9am PST I thought EL main game could run on 2000 or 2001 set in the .ini I also can connect to the pk server, what port is the pk server running off of? It could also be something like your personal firewall or router blocking 2000 as well. Thanks for the suggestion Spleenie, Already Insured the firewall was set to allow the ports, Plus EL played when I had 1.6 running fine. I Did also Attempt to to connect to the main server with both firewall and antivirus disabled.
