Can't even ping EL on Sept 1, 2007 2:43AM Central US time

It is 2:43am Central time in the USA. I have been trying for an hour or so and I realized that I can't even ping the eternal lands server. Is there an issue with the server right now? What is going on?

Hmmm....I can ping eternal-lands.com, but not game.eternal-lands.com.
