Grum Report post Posted August 22, 2007 Is the file e3dlist.txt still used? It looks like the idea was to give each 3d object a unique identifier, I presume to shorten messages from the server. However, by the looks of it the current client only reads the file, stores it in memory, and frees the data upon exit. Since the data doesn't seem to be used anywhere, can we get rid of it, or are there plans to use it (again?) in the future?
Entropy Report post Posted August 22, 2007 Now that we are going to use Small/Pawn scripts to add/remove objects from the map, I guess this list is obsolete now, and can be removed, if it is not used for anything else.
