Drakos7 Report post Posted March 3, 2007 This message is directed toward the server devs. It is great that the extra manu messages have been removed while making some things. To illustrate, hit make all for a pile of HE or LE, then close your manu window and the long spam of "You successfully made..." is gone for some things. It used to scroll off the screen with a ton of created messages. But the screen still spams when making thread. I have not tested other items yet. Any chance the other items could be cleaned up as well? It should reduce the amount of data sent to the client as well. Perhaps it is just for crafting. ttlanhil Report post Posted March 3, 2007 and while we're at it... the "you started to ..." message even gets sent if you're in an interdiction zone... so unless you notice the console message saying "you can't harvest here" you'll wonder why the manu window says you're working and nothing is happening Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Duck2 Report post Posted March 3, 2007 and while we are at it... if you are harvesting when green day starts you will get an amazing amount of spam... Why not make it automatically stop harvesting instead of giving the message once per intended harvest (I was AFK when one started a while ago, 1 per second for 5 minutes...)
