big_duo Report post Posted December 31, 2006 I know many people (most certainly myself) do not agree with the way the United States is run, both past and present. To become a president however is no simple task. I would never ask that people support the decisions he made, nor the way he came into office, but I ask that anybody who reads this offer their words of respect to a former president. Please do not post if you have anything negative to say. Whether it be a president or just an average citizen, respect is deserved to honor the dead, regardless of beliefs. Mugwump Report post Posted January 5, 2007 I agree with that statement one hundred percent! Hopefully it is meant to be equally applied to Ms. Deepika Prasadhi Jayasuriya and Freddie the Peeper, and Leslie Lynch King and Ralphie the Hungry Hamster. In other words, a dead president deserves no more tribute than a dead friend, or even enemy. Do not we all find ourselves flopping about in the same underworld with all our goodies lost?
