It's not pics, it's AVI videos, like the title suggest. I tryed to take some screenshots from the video, but i had back luck because of the video overlay, i will try some other way.

It depends on what you mean by "not laggy" as you can see i record in 640x480 windowed mode at 14FPS, but if you have a better graphic card maybe you can do more. Or if you have some space, you can save it the first time with low compress rate, and recompress it, but i choosed to make everything real time for the ones you can see here.

plenty of config change to make to speed it up :

- in tools -> options -> stream tab

- disable autoconfigure and set framerate to 14 FPS

- Compressor : XviD MPEG-4 Codec

- Configure -> Encoding type : Single Pass / target bitrate : 1200 kbps

- [more 1] : Quantization type : mpeg (all options disabled except B-VOP ones) profile : unrestricted

- [Advanced options] :

Motion precision : Very low

VHQ : OFF

Disable use chroma motion

Enable Turbo mode

 

In EL options : set MAX FPS to 14 (to give more time to the encoder)

video mode : 640x480@16 windowed

reduce font size of 10%

play with other options if you want but keep mipmaps enabled

i used to do that as well, just for the hell of it. go put absolutely everything in storage and then go out and see how long it would take me to die :smartass:

a few times i got lucky, but other times it was quite fatal
