Stupid quistion maby, but i just reinstaled windows XP (yeh yeh windows ;p)

 

i used to press ~ for Console, but now i cant anymore :D((((

 

how i can change it back? lol

There is a file in your EL directory called key.ini

 

Look at the entries there and try to change:

 

#K_CONSOLE = F1

 

to

 

#K_CONSOLE = ~

 

 

I'm not sure if it will work tho, but if it doesn't you can always change it back.

it's actually not the ~ key, it's ` (backtick). and yes, on many keyboards that's the same key (a matter of shift)

check if you have alt, ctrl, or shift pressed

both F1 and ` work for me with the default key.ini (at least I think it's the default one)

I think this problems is related to the bugs in some non-english keyboards.

hmm, yeah, we seem to have a lot of those. okay, with a reinstall of windows, you may now have a different keyboard map

to check this out, go to control panel (Start->settings->control panel) and look in regional settings or keyboard

if you're not sure about something, check the help or leave it alone, though ^_^
