Trouble with FreeBSD and latest Client [SOLVED]

The port installed fine, but the port was 1.01, so I uninstalled it and attempted to compile the linux 1.10 using the freebsd makefile from cvs. all I get is errors whether I'm using make or gmake

 

I'm running 5.4 and gnome2
