  1. fun with critters or all types

    depends on how you code it. If you made Critter/Monsterbots, that just responded with random pm's or emoticons that'ld probably work, otherwise a little parsing in the code that processes pm commands could catch said targets and make sure they are handled differently. Will it have a impact on game. not likely unless inteligent monsters said helpful stuff occasionaly would it bug people who never think to try to pm random creatures, not likely will it be amusing the first 2 times and then stupid, yes. That being said do people who pm beavers 40 times an hour have a right to say that its stupid, when they could just not pm them? I'll let you decide. anyways I just thought it would be cute for 2 minutes, and then people forget about it. the dreaded porpoisee
  2. When someone pm's something it replies back something. example player types /Rabbit DIE BUNNY!<enter> response [PM from Rabbit: What's up Doc?] <end example> btw I'ld be happy to implement this.
  3. Client shutsdown unexpectantly in FreeBSD

    uhm... I downloaded the linux version, built in bsd enviroment as the instructions said to do
  4. my system is an AMD system running Freebsd 5.4(stable), and Gnome(2.1) With no forseeable patern the client will quit and if run in the terminal prints out the following lines Floating Point Exception Memory Core Dumped It happens in game proper, while loading maps, and before or during loging in. porpoisepower@gmail.com

  7. The port installed fine, but the port was 1.01, so I uninstalled it and attempted to compile the linux 1.10 using the freebsd makefile from cvs. all I get is errors whether I'm using make or gmake I'm running 5.4 and gnome2 thanks Porpoise
