What ports/protocols?

Recommended Posts

OK, got the client, but my firewall yells "no no" when trying to connect :P

Searched the forums, shuffled through manual and noob guide, but couldn't find info about this.

So, what ports/protocols are used?

And no, im not using personal firewall that is configured automatically when some program tries to connect.

Thanks,

Jape

Using Kerio WinRoute Firewall.

Info that i need:

-Inbound Port range used

-Outbound port range used

-Protocol (TCP/UDP)

-Server IP (optional, but it helps).

This is mighty odd.

Server ip is 62.93.225.26

And port seems to be 2000 (TCP)

Tested couple rules:

1. Allow all traffic from/to 62.93.225.26 on port 2000 (tcp and udp)

Didnt work.

2. Allow all traffic from/to 62.93.225.26

Didnt work.

3. Allow all traffic on port 2000 (tcp/udp) from anywhere.

Didint work.

4. Disabled firewall.

Works OK, but this is not an option.

Server guy could tell me whats going on here :P

Actually i cant.

It says same thing that i already know:

#server_address = eternal-lands.solexine.fr

#server_port = 2000

Problem is that if i open port 2000, game fails to connect.

So, if you disable the firewall, it works. If not, it doesn't.

Try to set the rules that way so it will allow both incoming and outgoing packets from/to port 2000 TCP

Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt :P

It simply does not want to work with my firewall. If i disable it, then it works just fine...

Quote from my previous message:

Are there any other options - like maybe checkboxes to disable short packets or other weird stuff like that? Maybe one of the other functions of the firewall is messing with EL.
