Mosters

Recommended Posts

Ok why can't we have different type's of the same moster? so like for goblines, we have female gobline, male goblins, and armourd goblines, why not expand on this with like injurd gobline (little bit weaker than normal gobline and has cuts and stuff on it(not much work to do that) gobline gaurd bit stronger than normal goblines and can be found near the entrances of gobline places to protect the rest of the group, gobline chlid just srink the male gobline, this would be the weakest gobline you can find.

And then ou basicly do this for every moster and that would add another 20+ mosters to the game without doing much work, and you could also have the leaders of the mosters like bosses that are alot harder and drop the rares items but at a rare rate, they could also be used for some fighting quests

We are working on making it easier to add new monsters - currnetly it's hardcoded, but in the future all monsters will be loaded from a file, making it very easy to add new monsters (for instance, weak goblins), and it would only require a server restart.

ok cool, because this would really add alot more mosters to the game, and you would only really need to change the stats and name(plus a little bit on the look of the moster but not much) and it would also mean the levels gaps between mosters would be much smaller, we might even get 1 moster per level :)

they have weak goblins..........it's called a wolf <_<

I'd rather see monsters at the same level so you don't have to train on the same thing over and over again. :)

There is work going on into a new format, where we can "scale" a model, when this comes into place it may be possible to have monsters of different strength and size. That is what is so great about Open-Source! Cross your fingers!
