i know its been suggested before..a minimap but this is much more simplified version.. here's a previous post of mine...

"The image on the map would simpliy be a zoomed in version of the regular map.

(this would inclien some of us to fix some maps :cry:)

:cough::cough:portland: cough: :roll:

and would display all shops,roads, and natural features(like green indicating woods or earth color for mountain,tan for desert,blue for water, and grey for stone(or villages)."

i think this would be good.. perhaps it could look like a magnifing glass?

it would also show us where we are on the map (a dot in center is good)

this might require more detailing on the maps but they kinda needed it anyway :P later you could possably add other players.(but i dont think animals is good)

im done.

Entrop i think he ment a magnafying glass with a picture of the general area around your player basicly a smaller more presise verson of the tab map but dosent require a key to activate it and dosentt ake up alot of space im sure they had something like that during the old castle days and if ur wonderering yes im sure they had magnafying glasses then because they had telescopes allredy hmmm i cant think of a better way to describe it as of now :/
